This trip has giving me such great ideas, passion and most importantly, hope that my future is more about opportunities taken than missed.
I want to thank first the people that I have met along the way. From Bethlehem, PA and Touchstone Theater. To Everyone in Staten Island, NY and the spot we rocked in. To the hospitality of the Bass Family and Sandglass Theater in Putney, Vermont. Everyone who showed us around there and in Brattleboro (S.I.T). To the Rosenblatt Family here in Hartford, Connecticut. The fine people of Heartbeat Ensemble with thestudio@billingsforge. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and it emphasizes the great spirit and energy of wonderful people. Last is a big thanks to the ones who brought me out here…

DJDDouble – Thanks for the hook up on this project. I got to see a very different side of you that I normally would not have seen unless you were married to me…what? Nevermind, anyways you have always pushed me to go further in my passions and now I can truly call you a great friend, not that you weren’t before… More so the trust you have in my ideas and vision truly helped me in finding my voice. Thanks and more things to come. Colabo 2010 already in motion.

Robert F. Karimi - That meeting in California was just the first step. Little did I know we would be embarking on a journey that entailed more about self discovery than the original project you asked of me. Seeing only the other show and then just going of both recomendation and gut instincts, This trip has moved me in a direction that I never even phanthomed. The disscussions we had along this road trip are some that will echo in me for the rest of my life. Lessons heard that now I want to experience, and wisdom that I will cherish. I am blessed to have met you , and now more so to have been in your presence. Thank you for the oppertunity of this trip, the work, the friendship, and more the experience of being like you. Hard times or not, living the way you decide is the way I want to live. You shown me a new way and I cannot begin to thank you for that.

There will be more to come, this was just my way to thank the ones who now have opened my eyes to what is still out there for me to see. To those still seeking, don’t stop and ask what will happen. Trust in yourself, move forward and take that step. Just Do it (my only shoe reference…wink)

taking a moment to reflect

It’s been a few days, since I have written in the blog. Mainly because I haven’t had a moment to breathe until right now.

It’s amazing how we forget to breathe when we are excited.

Putney, VT was amazing. We didn’t want to leave. Right now we are about to head in to Hartford, CT and are really amped by everyone’s excitement.

I trip on how many people have asked me to talk about U.S.-Iran policy and Obama’s video to Iran.

I never want to claim that I am the ultimate authority, because I ain’t no Steven Kinzer, but as I learned watching O’Reilly on Letterman last night, if you have degrees, were a journalist, and have an opinion, you can talk all you want as a commentator. OK CNN do you hear? I am ready to go. Call me up MSNBC. I have the same qualifications as O’Reilly. And I will have a politically sexier demographic.
